This series of recipes originated from women that have been both my Mentors and great inspiration in my cooking career.
 
My Mother, Doña Maria Luisa Viteri, introduced me to the fascinating world of cooking from an early age and with that I learned all her secrets.
 
Over the last 11 years, my great friend and teacher, Gaby Almada, shared with me her best recipes and taught me a lot of what I know.
 
Gaby Almada was owner and chef of “La Mejor Opción”, a very popular Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. There, a group of friends created their second home, and adopted Gaby as our Vallarta Mother.
 
It is through their inspiration LUPE offers you these great recipes.
